Journal of my Crazy Dreams

This was yesterday night’s dream:

Me and pati are going at some hardware shop as he has to get his cdrom drive or something replaced. Its located at some distant location so there’s a nice shortcut to reach it and we are very well familiar with it. The APSRTC bus drops us at a location from where we have to walk: first through a quiet village, then some even quieter abandoned factory, and then a colony and finally city areas where the shop is located. The bus can come here through main road but its just that it would take a lot of time.

Any way, so we land out of bus and walk past the village talking on one of our regular topics of which girl is hot or not. Suddenly a mad bull comes roaring around and kicks a poor village guy out of his cycle and kills him quite brutally. Scared we both start running along the shortcut so that we reach the city areas soon. Seeing us 2 lads running, the bull starts chasing us. We keep running for a long time through the factory and it seems the bull has lost vision of us. Good, but we still decide to move fast and to get out of the quiet lands as it felt spooky.

Suddenly when we are about to come out of factory area, a team of 5 bandits come running, laughing, and threatening us that ‘they’ will kill you all. We are like wtf? whats the day today? We see 2-3 gentlemen also running behind these bandits, who confuse us with the bandits as well and start screaming at us. We, of course, raise our hands for safety and thank God they don’t do anything to us. However the bandits are not gone and they have burning-petrol-bottles ready to set fire, and they toss it towards us, quite a good number of them. We both run to safety, but one of the gentlemen catches fire vigorously. Bandits use this opportunity to bug out. People start holding the man on fire, snatching him, screaming for help. I see a red fire extinguisher at the wall which I run towards, and open all its wrath on the poor person. With all the fire gone he catches his breath back. He thanks me and asks me my name.

A change of paragraph is important here. He asks my name and I tell him ‘Shiben’ (what else?). He says, “Oh you are a student of Dr. PJN, I heard he has given you a lot of work… what are you doing here when you have so much work to do?”. And the dream ends… just like other dreams in which I am about to die or some giant King Kong just gave me a punch.

Connections with real life: It seems that doing my project work is highly important right now, it is even more important than saving people’s lives. May be the dream was telling me to stop playing games which also involves saving people’s lives.
